Chickenbutt, I'm going to try your way for a while, it's a lot easier than trying to stand with a foot in a container too small for my whole foot while in the shower!

I read tea tree oil does work for toe nail fungus, and it just takes some time.

Update: Today I saw a podiatrist for the nail in question. He said it looked like I probably injured the toe and had dried blood under the nail. He took part of the nail off that had the dried blood and said he would send a clipping away to make sure it didn't have any fungus starting.
