I'm glad that you're getting it taken care of as soon as you possibly can.

Then it'll be over with, and you can get back into your fitness program as soon as it's safe to do so.

Good luck John. My husband had 2 of them, and had surgery some years ago to repair it

He did say ,for a while after the surgery .he had the feeling sometimes .of being poked from the inside. It never stopped him from doing everything . It was just a quick sensation he sometimes felt. It did go away, eventually

So sorry to hear about your hernia John. I too hate when an injury prevents me from exercising like my frozen shoulder from a few years ago. Get well soon.
