Re: Time to get ready for tomorrow

@monicakm Praying that everything comes together successfully with ease for you... Sorry about the delay w/ your procedure but sometimes hiccups in our plans are actually blessings in disguise. Maybe this next time you’ll end up getting better care than you may have initially. Thank you for the many times your cheerful posts have brightened my day.. From sharing all the fun pretty makeup finds you’ve come across to stories about your dogs, you’ve been a resilient ray of sunshine. I genuinely wish you the best..,

Insurance companies and hospitals/doctors are the bane of my life the past few years. I am so sorry your surgery did not go forward as you expected. I hope they get their act together quickly so you can soon be on the road to recovery.

As for the icecream yum yum. My go-to's when I am annoyed/worried/feeling blue, are fried onion rings and cheescake. And perhaps an adult cocktail thrown in the mix. In no particular order. Lol.

@monicakm - I've been busy the last few days, and I too was going to offer prayers for your procedure. Enjoy doing what you like while you wait, and let us know when you get the green light!  Smiley Wink

Wow! What a pain! You get yourself all geared up and brave, and the evil MBA Insurance vampires put the kibosh on the entire thing!

I hope you are staying in good spirits!

This definitely calls for a new perfume!

Well as you probably know by now, I didn't have the procedure 🙄

I haven't had my coffee yet so I'm not in the right frame of mind to get on the phone to figure out what the heck happened and why.

Well I did all the things to look Glam under the operating lights but as you know there is no operation.

That blush is super pigmented!! So just be aware if you buy it. I put one dab on my finger and halfed the amount with the same finger on the other hand. It was way too much. I read several reviews on the Ulta website and the main complaint was that it was too pigmented.  Another complaint was that the color samples were not accurate. I found both of those to be true.

@Still Raining

I guess that's what was wrong with me yesterday after finding out the procedure was a no-go. It was like someone had given me a handful of sleeping pills. I was so weak and drowsy. My husband said it was because of being stressed about the procedure and all the I thought I had to do and the emotional visit with my parents the day before.  Then when I was told I wasn't having the procedure, I just let go of everything emotionally and physically collapsed.... well collapsed sounds a little dramatic but you know what I mean. We've all had experiences like that. To quote dad who quoted his flight attendant, " life hard".
