Hi Everyone,
I have an underactive thyroid and a goiter which has gotten bigger. Additionally I am coughing alot and have trouble swallowing. They did an ultra sound and I have a growth. They cannot determine if it is abnormal but I need it removed. Now I have to go to an ear, eyes and throat surgeon. Question, does anyone know if they do a biopsy before they remove the growth or after? Does this sound like cancer or something else? I am at peace with whatever they find. I lost the love of my life of 48 years 9 months ago so if I hear I am dying I won't be upset; however, I leave it up to God.
Your honest input would be appreciated.
Take care
