I've shared my lifestyle here on Intermittent Fasting along with Keto low carbs no sugar, and artificial sweeteners, colors. I only buy organic locally, Farmers market, and whole foods, publix, or trader joes no longer eat processed ingredients, Fresh is best.
Dr. Jason Fung - Obesity Code and Diabetes Code : New York Times best selling books highly recommend.
Dr. Jason Fung - YouTube recent interviews with various researchers, and physicians at the 2.0 health summit.
Dr. Pradip Jamnadas - Cardiologist - YouTube respected throughout the world. His medical credentials noteworthy.
I've been living this lifestyle for several years gradually incorporated longer fasts including several days with my primary physician supporting my lifestyle. Those who are interested speak with your primary physician with lifestyle changes, and include up to date physical checkup.

I will never be off of the medication, I am on it for life. My Diabetes numbers are those of someone without Diabetes. If I had a choice, I would do it. I needed to lose weight. I don't think it is for everyone though. I am happy that my obesity and diabetes were put into check before I suffered diseases from them.
I did buy the walking poles that the Q has, I am excited to use them once my broken foot heals.
my hubs has been taking trulicity for about 2yrs. his a1-c is down to normal range. he lost about 15lbs. His key is adding excercise. i'm pre-diabetic and trying to get Medicare/ins. approval for mounjaro. i need to lose enough so it doesn't hurt to walk. In the long run, i think diabetes will do more damage to my body, than taking one of these injectable type diabetes drugs. everybody is different.

@10sluvr I am on Medicare and covered for the Mounjaro. My a1c was 6.3 my doctor said I was diabetic and that is how it is covered. I would go to an Endocrinologist who specializes in metabolism. The approval is all in the physicians documentation.
I agree, I have been on Mounjaro x 2.5 years, it has dramatically helped my overall health. I don't know what the big deal is about side effects and the fear of some over this drug. I have been fine, never more healthy. All of my labs are in the normal range. No fatty liver disease. The best part is that my inflammatory marker came down from 8.3 to 1.2. Below 1 is normal. That is a measure of the amount of inflammation in my body.
I hope you can get on the Mounjaro.
