I take a sweet potato and rice ceramide supp instead of one made from wheat (Lessman's).  As far as I know both kinds work similarly with no significant differences. There is a significant cost difference between the two types.

@SilleeMee   You are, once again, spot on with current research.

Took the time to check research on phytoceramides.

Widely reported that RICE-based is more effective that wheat-based. Studies.

Thank YOU!

@10sluvr

About 4 weeks. That's about the average time it takes for skin cells to turnover. The older you are, the longer it will take so it can take 6 or 8 weeks depending on age.

Okay, can't beleive I've going to ask this but does any menopausal women know if this helps with dryness ummm down under?

Just curious, thinking about trying for this very reason, just wondering if anyone knew if it works for that. Smiley Embarassed

Hi Sand, for that issue may I recommend trying Sea Buckthorn Oil softgels, I have been taking them daily for the last 12 years, and for me it has helped. Also please be sure you are using the proper body wash there,  I recommend Sweet Spot Wash. If you have more questions for me, happy to answer them for you, Shel

I do take the Phytoceramides but I cant say they help with the issue we are discussing now.

Hello, again, make sure the SB Oil you take is the Berry Oil, not the Seed Oil, the 2 accomplish different things. the Berry Oil helps to lubricate tissues from the inside out. I found lots of info online about this years ago.  I will post the one I usually take. Start with 2 per day for a few months, then 1 a day. I get them on amazon or ebay. Sweet Spot has a great line of feminie products, sold on their website, often they offer 20% off, and also on amazon and Ulta. I always use their washes, for that special area.

See below for the SB Oil
