Just got results of second biopsy...BENIGN...no basal cell carcinoma. I am very relieved. Whether I have a scar or not, I am glad to put this all behind me.

I'm so happy your results were benign. I also would have been royally ticked if the lab lost my results, but now you can put this behind you and move forward.

Frustrating, yes. But getting a second skin scraping may be better than them saying "we lost it. Oh, wait, we found it!" THAT would upset me more hahaha. I would be wondering if they found MINE, or just one they 'called' mine!

As I was reading this I was thinking that yes, things do happen, and I know that. Now, if I had gone for a Colonoscopy, & biopsy of a colon lesion and they lost THAT, I would be on the floor of the hospital crying and banging my head on the floor. Imagine having to prep twice for that? Ohh my gosh!

Just trying to make you smile, and see that a lost lab could be for a much more complicated procedure to "oh, can we do it again, we lost it" Smile Be glad it was your nose {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}
