Summer and Fall are my all time favorite seasons. I like hot weather as long as there is air conditioner and pool nearby.

This is is my first summer in florida. Although it most def is hot and humid, with everything being so air conditioned (sometimes needing a sweater), and pools, and beach nearby, I'm finding it very manageable, even though I can't touch the steering wheel initially when I start my car. 😩😩😩.

I am definitely going to miss the fall foliage this year. I just love fall very much. Better than summer. But it is what it is. I'll see the change of the leaves this year in pictures.

Stay cool ladies. Summer will be over before you know it.

Everyone is different and each of us react different to the heat.

Personally I hate the cold so I try not to compain about the heat.  We get so few 90+ days typically in Michigan anyway.  This summer the humidity has really bothered my allergies though.  At times it is hard for me to breath which I have not experienced before.

the heat is really getting to me.  i have a sun allergy which means that i sweat faster then it can  evaporate.  so i break out in a heat type rash.  it lasts until the sun goes down and then comes back in the morning.

I don't mind the heat as much as I do the HUMIDITY! Here in NJ, where I live it is relentless! We have it even in fall and winter! Two years ago on Christmas day I had to put my ac on due to humidity!(there was a thread on here about it) The humidity makes my entire body ache and I have trouble breathing or getting anything done. Last Wednesday, July 18, 2018, was a perfect day here. I felt so good! I felt alive and happy! I took a ride down to the beach and rode from Spring Lake to Long Branch along the ocean. I got my two favorite treats that I have once a year in summer. A Windmill hotdog and a kiddie Caramel, chocolate ice cream sundae from Cone Zone. Unfortunately, we rarely have nice days like that. It's getting to be humidity year round. I've always liked Fall and winter better than summer. I'd rather have cold and snow than heat and humidity!

We don't handle the heat as well when we get older. I have always been sensitive to the heat....this summer has been brutal and I feel like my energy is sapped when I have been out in the triple digit heat even for a little while. It also takes away my appetite. The idea of heating up the kitchen makes me want to eat an apple instead! Hang in there. If you feel you need a nap, take one. Listen to your body.

When it's very hot out people need to adjust their activities to accommodate the weather. For instance, I don't water my potted plants til evening because I know the sun will evaporate the water before the plants absorb it if I water while the sun is still out. In the summer I exercise by swimming, never going in the gym or walking in the heat & humidity. I lower the AC to 75 when I'm working around the house & when the housekeeper is here, then when I'm done I put it back to my usual 78.We also eat much lighter and less cooked foods. Tonight was a big ole tossed salad with slices of cold chicken. Instead of ice cream for dessert - yogurt.

Summer is my least fave season too. The older I get, the less tolerance I have.  Can’t wait for fall but I know it’s at least  6 weeks or more away , temperature-wise... oh well, better embrace it... ugh.
