@software   Wasn't Paragoric used to rub on baby's gums when they were teething?  It sounds so familiar.

Yes and to help with colic.   

Regulating opium products is more about someone getting rich rather than saving ourselves from addiction.    Regulation is not always a good thing

It's no different than people who became billionaires many times over by making/selling alcohol or fast food or junk food or cigarettes.  Those things sicken and kill people too.

Had never heard of this family. Thank you for the information. Lot of money to be had when it comes to the medical field.
