Well, nobody cooks as good as me, so I actually prefer not to go out. I think it's a man thing. For some reason, the ones I know anyway, seem to love to go out to eat!
I've been in supposedly 4-star restaurants over my many years...in most the food really wasn't super great like you would expect, and the serve staff was no better.
(Let alone you really don't know what you're getting.)

We love to eat out and do it quite often.

All this while there is an active thread from someone trying to conquer her fears.

@Well don’t forget that we are really limited to what we can discuss without it getting taken down.We used to have much more interesting things to chat about before all the rules.

You say in your opening post ..... "Studies have found that people who eat in restaurants have 35% more phthalates in their bodies than people who eat at home."
Where are these studies reported, who conducted them and how did they select the sample of people who were tested, and how many people were tested?
Also, is there any evidence in these studies that restaurants purchase a greater amount of packaging containing "toxic chemicals" than the rest of us who buy food at our local grocery stores?
Perhaps she should think on her own instead of believing everything she reads. I'm amazed how many people believe everything they read and hear, commom sense is so lacking.

Isolating the source of PHTs is very difficult because they are found everywhere on Earth. Singling out an industry as their source, such as 'Restaurants', is misleading and it is also an area popular for creating fear mongering.

Not surprising to hear this. We rarely eat in restaurants, and only drink organic coffee due to the chemicals, This is why:
Statistics show: By the age of 70 ... 1:2 men will get cancer
1:3 women " " "

I'm amazed that a person who claims to be a nurse knows nothing about phthalates, nor does she care about toxins in the body.
