Last night I was just sitting and suddenly got a pain in one eye, felt like it was in the socket. It was rather sharp and I figured it would go away. You know how occasionally you get a phantom pain somewhere and then it just goes away? Well, this hasn't gone away. It feels very sore as if someone punched me in the eye. I finally got up and looked in the mirror and under my eye (where the bottom lashes are) is all swollen. I see no areas that are inflamed such as would be from a stye or something, but it's very puffy and red. It hurts even to blink and when I touch it, it hurts a lot or just moving my facial muscles causes it to hurt. I tried ice for awhile but that did nothing. This morning still the same. Anyone ever have anything like this?
I already just happened to have an eye doctor appt. scheduled for Thursday, so unless it gets worse, I will just wait for that, I guess.
Thanks!
