That is usually the way a virus manifests with me. Sore throat, hoarse, laryngitis, feeling like carp, and swollen glands. It almost never hits my nose, so when I was working no one ever believed I was sick. They had a single criterion for sick - stuffy nose. No stuffy nose, you aren't sick. Frustrating, because you certainly feel sick, you just don't always sound sick.
