Wonder how many will open thinking ‘pulses’ are
referring to a heart rate?
Giggle....but they will help with heart rate!

Love this...gives me more support that one should be eating plants rather than animals due to climate change and water efficiency (and, of course for the precious animals as well as our health). Thanks @lolakimono

I love this site....’pulses.org’. Lots of ideas.

I have no idea what this chart represents, and the font is too small for me to see what definition is ascribed to this word "pulse". In health and fitness, my "pulse" is my #1 guide. The use of the word here, evidently has nothing to do with the body's most important muscle, if so, I must be missing it.

John, it's an advertisement from the bean and pea growers in the US & Canada about the benefits of eating what they grow.
Since China said they're no longer going to buy US grown soybeans, it's likely about their $$$ bottom line.
I'm not on Pintrest so I have no clue what Pulses are, either.

@lolakimono Would add mixed nuts (preferably unsalted in my case) as an important part to my diet. Full of protein, easy to store, take anywhere and no preparation.
ETA: I do add raisins and/or dried cranberries to the mixture, which is kept in a large covered bowl.

All you needed to do for clarification @hckynut, was to read subsequent posts and even go to the website pulses.com to learn more about these nutritional powerhouses.
