The brand of curcumin or tumeric that works best for me is Jarrow Brand (95% curcuminoids). I've tried other brands but this one works best for me, and I take one with breakfast and one with dinner. My arthritis doc recommended I take this supplement and I researched the correct dosage which is normally about 1000 mg per day. But we each have to assess what works for our body. The black pepper helps turmeric work better but my stomach is very sensitive so the Jarrow formula is without it. One pill per day doesn't work for me. The typical drug store brands are often not of high quality so I tend to purchase well known brands from a health food store in person or online. Sometimes I use the duck duck go search engine instead of google because google tends to censor certain information. I like to read up for myself first.

I take the Qunol Turmeric and like it a lot.   I take 2 capsules per day and can tell a difference if I don't take it for a while.

@Growing

That Jarrow is a good one. However it lacks one very important ingredient to make it absorb...black pepper (aka piperine). Take it with fat in your food to get it to absorb. Also the 1-cap-per-day of 500mg is not nearly enough to get the best benefits. 1500mg is really what is needed daily.

When it comes to me putting supplements into my body I have to push the cost in the background and stick with ANDREW LESSMAN , I TRUST  him 100%

I do lots of times wait for his SPECIALS on HSN and many times have to use the flex pay  then I  can afford the  largest size.

I go back with him to the late 80's when he started off on the Q. with those packets of orange vitamins C for my kids back then.

Being a senior now ,have once shown to a cardiologist what I was taking  and he said WOW you know what to be using , thought  then it's thanks to Andrew explaining everything so well, I  also take no prescriptions ,

I totally agree.  His supplements are the only ones I will take.

@SilleeMee I think you are the bee's knees when it comes to beauty and supplement knowledge.  I subscribe to Consumer Lab and generally go by their recommendations for supplements, since they are a third-party testing site.  That being said, as I get older, I am taking more and more supplements (which have helped in many cases) to overcome some age-related issues.  This is becoming quite costly!  Do you have any brand recommendations for these supplements?  I know you buy brands that work at the best cost.

1) Glucosamine SULFATE (not HCI)/Chondroitin Sulfate

2) CoQ10

3) Type 2 Collagen (UCII)

4) Turmeric

Thank you so, so much!

I get all mine from AL. I have tried over the counter from Drug store and big box stores and never felt anything until I started taking his a few years ago and what a difference in mind, body and spirt.  I take a least 25 of his suppliments, not all at once, but throughout the day and have lots of energy at 86. Do all my own work around the home and yard and find time for exercising.  Have given the list to my Dr. and she is amazed at my energy and health.

He is a little more expensive, but I wait for his specials.
