This is kind of scary. An article from CNN:

Good thing that I don't wear it.
My Dad never wore sunscreen a day in his life, and he lived to be 92.

You're dammed if you do and dammed if you don't. We all know chemicals and cosmetics are not healthy for our bodies.
I guess we can all stay indoors and hibernate or only go out after dark. Yikes!

First time I used a sunscreem, it actually soften/melted my nail polish. Never again.

I thought it would be sooner than that, just a couple of hours. I use it but sparingly. I read somewhere that we should use half the amount they tell us to use. I apply it sparingly but I prefer to be sun-smart. Which means that I never lay out and bake myself in the sun like a roast chicken. I take my walks very early in the morning or after dusk. I wear maxi dresses and skirts so my legs don't get much sun. While I wear big sunglases, I don't wear hats and I probably should. It's weird. Hats are aggravating, I cannot tolerate them. To be honest, I think the chemical soup in sunscreen scares me more than the sun.

Of course there are always outliers. However, skin cancer is the most common cause of cancer in the US. Better to be safe than sorry until further scientific studies, clinical trials etc. prove sunblock absorption harmful.

When I'm on vacation I literally douse myself in this stuff. I reapply after every time I swim, multiple multiple times a day. I must be toxic by now. I must have absorbed gallons of it. I had no idea it enters the bloodstream.

@MalteseMomma. How do you not get a red nose? I also have fair skin. If I am out a lot in the hot sun, my nose looks like the red nosed reindeer.

Same with my dad.....just a hat and sunglasses, and not overdoing sun exposure.
