@seaswirl ~ I stepped on a wasp in my mom's garage, and got stung. Her neighbor said to put some bleach on a cotton ball, and apply to the affected area. Stopped hurting within minutes!

I have heard the mud, plain old garden mud will help. Just slap it on the sting. It is supposed to neutralize the sting.Sorry about the sting, but good thing you didn't bother the nest!

Take a spoonful of baking soda and mix it with a little water to make a paste. Apply the paste to the sting area with a Qtip. If it itches later, you can put a bit of plain vinegar on it.
You can also an ice pack or use cold compresses. You can take an antihistamine like Benadryl.
