Strontium Supplement - Do you take this or know anything about it?

I've been trying to find information about things to improve bone health, having been diagnosed with osteoporosis and not wanting to take the scary drugs which are offered for treatment. I have seen this supplement and wondered if anyone has experience with it??? I went to an alternative type doctor the other day and he mentioned this supplement as a possible option for me. If you have any personal knowledge or have or are taking this, I'd sure appreciate your posting! Thank you!
