Stressed over neighbors home break in!

Greetings all~ Just found out that the house 2 doors from ours(I can see into their backyard) was broken into yesterday in broad daylight!!Have lived here 10+ yrs. and nobody has any thefts. Just occasional kids taking change and cigarettes out of unlocked vehicles! I am so stressed out about this. We are not feeling too safe and it is NOT a great feeling. Obviously there are folks that have dealt w/ this before....how did you get over it?? p.s. We already have a big hairy barking dog and she DOES make me feel safer!
