Steroid injection

I received a steroid injection a week ago for bronchitis and also an antibiotic injection plus a zpak. The next day my face turned red and swelled. It went down within a day. I was the first time that I had ever received a steroid injection.

Also, I am diabetic and my blood sugars are high as a result of all of the meds.

My question is has anyone had this experience especially with steroids? I am mostly wondering/curious as to which one of the meds...steroid or antibiotics would be staying in my system after 6 days which would still effect my blood sugars and fatigue. Thanks.
