Re: Something I Never Considered Before My Heart Attack

@ID2

Does it make a difference if I laughed myself into a heart attack at 3am vs 3pm?

We turn off and dock everything before bedtime. There is absolutely no need to be looking at Instagram in the wee hours! Why??

You claim you are a Type 1 diabetic? 99% have a low blood sugar in the night at some time, so you never need to stay up and stay alert? Instagram helps...

@Trinity11  Can you please elaborate on your statement?Are you saying that you can't allow yourself to fully fall asleep during the night?

Rarely if ever. I can drop from 120 at bedtime around 12:30 to 50 by 2:00 A.M. I often wake in the night and haven't slept through the night unless medically induced (like last year when I was hospitalized). Even when I had an insulin pump, I was constantly waking up. And when it malfunctioned and nearly killed me @LuvSoCal , I decided to self inject and depend on myself. Welcome to Type 1 diabetes.🥹

@Trinity11  Sorry to say that I am quite ignorant regarding the life of a Type 1 diabetic. I just can't imagine all that you and others have to deal with. I'm not sure I could but, realistically, one does what they have to do. I wish you nothing but the best.
