Advil Cold and Sinus is the OTC medication that works best for me (and I think I have tried them all).  In my state you have to get it from behind the counter at the pharmacy.

I recently went to the drugstore to buy Claritin-D.  I couldn't find it on the shelf and I haven't purchased sinus meds in a long time.

A salesperson asked me what I was looking for and she said, "Oh, we keep that behind the counter".

I had no idea.  What else do they not keep on the shelf that I'm missing?

I have to be careful about sinus meds because it can raise  blood pressure.  And I do get sinus headaches.  A tech at my cardiologist suggested using Simply Saline nasal spray made by Arm and Hammer.  It is drug free and can be used as often as needed!!  It has helped me when I have to deal with those miserable heaaches....
