The weight loss is all very nice and everything, but what impresses me is that she can walk in those high heels ${#emotions_dlg.scared}$ I don't think I could even stand up in them, let alone walk.

I get the impression here that it's quite OK to criticize a skinny woman, but it's a big no-no to criticize an overweight one.

To me, it is the same thing . . . criticism for one's appearance, and neither is OK.

I just don't get the pageant part.

She won't let anyone define her - then she is in a beauty contest which is ALL ABOUT defining women. and holding them to a certain standard of appearance.

She has also had breast implants, a tummy tuck and probably lipo...plus changed the color of her hair and who knows what else...that doesn't show me that she is totally comfortable with her natural appearance.

I hope she is still smiling when she loses and doesn't take it personally!

Whatever makes you happiest...............she clearly wasn't happy being heavy and being made fun of. So she decided to do something about it. I just hope that along with that toned slimmed body she is also happy inside !
