Has anyone here tried this and if so what did you think about it?

I've done back-to-back appointments with my husband, but not shared.  I didn't know that was a thing.

My dh and I often go into internist together.

Seems like doctors are doing everything these days to cut down on the time spent with the patient.  PAs, CRNPs, and now this.  Still charging the same amount though.  

But no - never did.  My husband and I had different doctors.

DH and I do that with PCP and it works well ( 2nd set of ears) but with specialists we have our own appointments, as we don't use same specialists.

P. S,

I am with him during his psychiatrist appointments.

We jointly speak----left to his own devices dh will say very little. He is bipolar with anxiety disorder.

I'm not sure that I would feel comfortable in a group setting with other patients I don't know. I know it is for people with the same chronic conditions but it seems impersonal.

My goal at a doctors office is to get in, get what I need and get out. I don't want to share with anyone or listen to anyone else.
