I have IBS too and stopped having trouble with it for the most part when I changed my diet?
Not exactly sure why it went away but I'd have to guess that is what did it!
Sending you wishes for comfort and healing!

@LTT1 My IBS is chronic because I have a very sensitive connection between my gut and my brain...when something emotionally challenges me I get a flare.
My diet is pristine and everything I eat is prepared by me. I do not eat processed food. I lost 100 lbs 18 yrs ago and have kept is off (maybe lost a little). I used to "mood alter" with carbs but now that's not an option. I didn't even know I HAD IBS until I was diagnosed after my weight loss.
Now, I'm faced with the dilemma of how best to handle the complicated number of conditions I have that have conspired to create a lot of physical pain...muscular-skeleton problems that were, no doubt, caused(at least in part) by all those years of carrying around all that extra weight...

Funny, NOT funny! We change one thing, and a different "thing" pops up out of nowhere!
Since you are so "tuned in" to your own body and its symptoms, I will guess that you will solve these issues or at least understand them better!
It seems to take lots of thought and TIME, at least, it does for me❤️

@LTT1 Hope you're right...this latest challenge I have with that very painful hamstring is giving me a 'run for my money!"

Once I entered menopause, some items got easier (migraines went away) but (because internally with no estrogen) my joints get achier!

@LTT1 Yah...I KNOW...I only have one natural joint left and my back is vulnerable so I have to seriously consider being very careful not to abuse my body by "overdoing"...

@pdlinda wrote:@DrakesMomma May I ask what helped you? My PCP doc suggested I take up to 4 Tylenol a day if the pain becomes unmanageable. I'm using 2 Tylenol each cut in half so I can make it through the day.
I'm going to call my knee surgeon's office tmrw to see when I can get in to see him (hopefully, before Thanksgiving), but can't foresee any overall treatment plan for my problem. Hoping for guidance. Thanks!
You probably already know this, but Tylenol has an 8 hr time release version.
I like it for when I'm out for several hours.

Tylenol also has an arthritis formula which is 650 mg per cap, instead of 500 .
