I used Andrew Lessman's Glucosamine Chondroitin for many years but didn't feel I was getting enough benefit from using it so I wanted to try another brand.
I ended up ordering Vimerson Health's GLUOSAMINE CHONDROITIN with Turmeric,MSM, Boswellic Acid,
L-Methionine and Bromelain.
The label recommended taking 3 caps per day. I have a sensitive stomach so I started out with 1. After a few days, I felt gastric discomfort that I attributed to using this product, so I tried to return it (bought from Amazon). I got a directive from Vimerson Health to contact them directly.
I spoke to a C.S. rep this morning and not only did she immediatly refund my $$ but she asked if I was interested in trying any alternative product they have free of charge.
The closest product they have to what I ordered is straight Glucosamine Sulfate. I agreed to try it but was unsure if straight Glucosamine was going to meet all my needs. I have osteoarthritis in my hands, neck and left knee (I've had 3 joints replaced so I'm trying to save that last knee...so far so good).
QUESTIONS: Anyone have any idea why that original formula may have caused me stomach problems, and
(2) Is there a Glucosamine/Chondroiten product anyone uses that they would recommend.
Thank you!

Yes! NOW glucosamine/chondroitin has the sulfate forms, which is what you want. I used to use Doctor's Best, but there was a lawsuit several years ago about the quality of their product.

@Ainhisg How big are the tablets? I have a hard time taking larger tablets or capsules. I am currently taking the smaller tablets made by Move Free that I purchase at Costco. I'm always interested in a better product if there's one out there.

@mspemberley they are large! They can be cut in half, but then there would be those rough edges, and they are still rather large. They sure do work, though. My neck used to pop and crack anytime I turned it, and within two week's time of taking these, all the popping and cracking stopped. Here's a pic from an Amazon review showing the size and giving information in the post.

@Ainhisg Thanks so much! I think that product seems perfect for me and I'm ordering right now!!

@Ainhisg With your positive recommendation I feel like I should at least give it a try, I'll just need to split the tablets. My problem is my knees. Thank you for the recommendation and info!

@pdlinda @mspemberley I don't know if you read the Amazon reviews or not, but most reviewers gave it a high rating. I sure hope it helps both of you like it has me!

@Ainhisg I did read the reviews and ordered. Thank you!

Huh ... I forget which ingredient is a derivative of shellfish, but since I'm allergic to shellfish, I am very careful to avoid these ingredients.

Thank you for posting this, I'm going to order it, I also have pops at times and my left knee hurts sometimes.
