Hi, dsky: I read your post and I have to agree with what you said. My cellulitis was cleared by my family doctor and he wanted to have a second opinion from the infectious disease office. They both cleared me for the surgery and the night the surgery I shaved my legs with an electric razor. Then my surgery was cancelled the next day due to a cellulitis flare. I told my husband that I wondered if it was due to shaving my legs.
Could you please give me the name of the moisturizer with tree oil that you use? I know that I have to keep my skin moisturized, but some of the lotions I have seem to irritate the skin more than help it, especially where I have the cellulitis.
It sounds like you and I had the cellulitis in a similar area. Mine was on the right leg and went up about halfway of my calf. It was resistant to oral antibiotics and to antibiotic shots, so I had to have a pik line put in and antibiotic IVs for about 4 weeks.
And, the worst part is they have told me that once you have it, it is easier to have other episodes. Oh, boy, whatawonderfu thing to look forward to.
Thank you in advance for sharing the name of the moisturizer. I appreciate that.
