Starting in January I plan( my goal is....) to lose 4 pounds a month thrue June 2018.... that will be 20 pounds lost total in a healthy substainable way. I will be back to my goal size where I feel best an feeling good for Summer.... How you lose it is your business. There is no right or wrong way... some of us may have less to lose... others more. You can adjust your goal weight to what you want to lose. 2 pounds a month... 4 or even just 1. It is your decision. Your vision.
Anyone want to Join me? We will step on the scale January 1...( uggg!) To know our true starting weight... you can keep that to yourself of course..... And start a journal here about our journey each week. I will start a weekly thread starting the first week in January where we can help one another and talk about what we are doing to reach our goal of 4 pounds or (whatever you choose to lose) each month. Even if you do not lose enough to make your goal...... anything will be wonderful and good! And we can encourage one another.
Let me know if you are interested and I will give a shout out to you in January when I start the thread( depending on if anyone else is interested....)

Count me in! I love the idea. Maybe I'll even up my exercise routine (which won't take much since I don't have much of one now)

Yes indeed, count me in. Before I clicked on your thread I had to check out the Two-Ingredient Ice Cream Cake thread....so yeah, I'm definitely in need of some group incentive to stay on a healthier path!

I will give it a try, even though the last and only time that I did something like this, I gained weight. Since I am off exercise until January 1, I will probably need some motivation, so I am in (maybe).

Sounds like we have a nice group starting! I think it will be good to enjoy our holidays knowing that come January we can get on the healthy band wagon with a goal in mind, whatever your goal is.
