Have any of you had these problems? I just had a MRI yesterday to see what the culprit is, have not heard the results, but it really hurts! TIA!

I had rotator cuff surgery on both shoulders. I first tried cortisone shots but they did nothing for the pain -- nor did physical therapy. My husband -- on the other hand -- had physical therpay on both shoulders -- with excellent results. I hope the same for you. Please let us know what your MRI shows. Wishing you relief very soon. I know how painful this is.

@judy0330 , thank you for replying! I admire you for having surgery, but I just do not want to have to go that route, I hope I can be as lucky as your DH with shots and therapy!

An MRI revealed two tears in my husbands shoulder which caused him severe pain in his rotator cuff. He too wanted to avoid surgery and the fact that the surgery might not help.
he went on a program of physical therapy, deep tissue massage, exercise and accupuncture. This regimine really helped him. Where he couldnt raise his arm at all he now has a good range of motion.
i know this wouldnt help everyone, just what helped him. Hope you feel better.

I used ,"Stop Pain" roll on and it really helped immensly. If I had taken meds for all that pain and for soooo long a time,I would have overdosed...........The Stop Pain really helped.
I have also used Theraworx (Amazon) or the Theraworx company. That also works well.
I did not have surgery.

I had a torn rotator cuff and the pain was intense .. I would just start
crying it was so bad .. like a tooth ache that would'nt quite ... and I
have a high pain tolerance .. so I had surgery and the physical therapy
after and it has been great since ....so in my case I had worse pain
before surgery than after

I have arm pain, but not shoulder pain, I also use Stopain, most helpful. I think mine is bicep tendonitis.
