In a previous thread I spoke about my husband's temper and verbally abusive behavior out of the clear blue. He has also had some issues with dizziness, imbalance and gait. He refused any medical evaluation for quite some time, but just recently consented to being checked out. We still have a few tests scheduled for the next couple of weeks including MRIs.

In the meantime, his doctor prescribed Risperdal (Risperidone) at the lowest dose possible to address his anger. I've done my research and re-questioned the doctor with my concerns about this drug. It comes down to risks vs. benefits.

Have any of you had experience with or are knowledgeable about this drug? I'm not seeking medical advice here. I already have my information and medical advice. I just thought it might be helpful to hear from others as I'm still concerned about my husband taking this medication. Thanks.
