I will be 4 weeks post op this Saturday. Wow its been a long haul, I am getting around with out a walker 90% of the time I use it for overnight potty runs.

The scar aches and my leg feels heavy and not like mine.

I hope to start in home pt next week and get on the road to health and

I am still sleeping on the recliners sofa, I would rather not disturb my hubby with my sleep issues, he has is own.

@I am still oxox

As a veteran of two total knee replacements, I can tell you that everyone's recovery is different. I slept in a recliner for two months for both of them--it was just more comfortable.

@I am still oxox the friend I mentioned to you last week still does not consider herself totally recovered but she is doing well enough that she has invited us to come play some bridge in her home tomorrow.  Her surgery was right around Labor Day — she doesn’t complain of pain now but knows her legs are still too weak to stop therapy.  (She is a basically heathy mid-70’s.)

I can't imagine having to have that done. Glad you are getting around better and hope the pt makes it better yet. Take care.
