The package came it was HEAVY. Even my husband picked up the pack and said, "wow this is heavy." I think that is a plus. I placed it standing up in my hubby's new leather Barcalonger and thought, "this thing isn't cool." Within in minutes it started cooling down. Apparently, it activates from your body heat. So far VERY impressed.

I can no longer take prescription anti-inflammatories. They feel it may have created a life-long disease they didn't know could happen. Not sure they are looking at auto-immune too but for safety sake I'm not taking them. THUS, when I work in the garden or twist inflame a muscle I need ice. This doesn't even need to be placed in the refrigerator or freezer. But if I want it colder I might try it. One thank about the weight. It stays were you put it.
