Re: Recall of gas furnaces due to carbon monoxide poising hazard

Just had emergy check sent from PGE.  Not only saved on my bill, but the company that came, checked my gas furnace and found a space that should not be in the installaion and fixed it.

Said it could have let CM excape.  I had this one installed in 2005, so lucky or maybe they were mistaken.  Anyway, they fixed the problem.

My home is 47 years old and this is my second furnace.

The energy saver program has saved me on my bill both electric and gas.  Led light bulbs, weather stripping, checking water heater, stove, refrig. etc.

My power company sent me a check for 25.00 for keeping the electric down bet. hours of 4 to 9.

I unplug everything I can when not in use and that has helped.
