I thought soap killed bacteria?  Guess I was wrong.

@SeaMaiden @Soap predominately helps water to wash away bacteria by breaking down the surface tension of water molecules. This makes water better able to rinse away anything on the skin. Soap also kills some types of  bacteria,  but not all bacteria. This particular bacteria thrives in this soap and in other cosmetics products. There's been plenty of recalls of products contaminated with this species of bacteria. This bacteria is resistant to many anti microbials/preservatives added to pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. It's also difficult to detect during manufacturing.

@Mindy D    Thank you for explaining... now I get it.    That is pretty frightening that this bacteria is so resistant and dangerous.

@SeaMaiden @It's definitely a baddie. It's particularly dangerous for those with cystic fibrosis.
