I use Orgain (chocolate for me, comes in vanilla too).  On sale at Coscto right now.  It's pea protein.  I mix with water and put cinnamon in a Mason jar and shake.  I love the stuff.

You may want to consider trying it.

Good idea, I've heard pea protein is an excelent vegan protein source and I think I'm going to alternate between whey and pea. Your recipe sounds good! Thanks
