RA Nodules

Does anyone have these on their elbows or feet. I have them in both places and they are spreading and increasing in size. I asked my RA doctor if they could be removed, but he said they will just return. My feet are in terrible condition and my Podiatrist said the same thing. I have bunions with nodules attached, hammertoes. It's getting hard to buy shoes that are comfortable.

Has anyone had them removed and if they returned, how soon did they come back?
