When I had my eye exam in August, the opthamologist told me I had early cataracts. Guess I knew this because I'm always taking off my reading glasses thinking they are dirty...and they aren't. He said my vision in my left eye was 20/20...while my right eye is a lazy eye.
They are driving me crazy. I wish I could turn on a switch to see "High Definition" again. I see halos when I look at bright lights and have to use a magnifier when I read.
Someone told me that you don't wait anymore for surgery until cataracts are "ripe" or your vision is 20/50...rather the timing is based on your symptoms.
I'm going to make another appointment with the opthamologist. Just wondering what your experiences have been. Thanks!
