Who in their right mind would have a physical and lie to the doctor and hide concerns? YOU see the doctor and be honest. That's all you have to be concerned with. The phsyician, the biller, the coder if the have one will take do their jobs.
@chrystaltree I never tell my Dr. everything ever. LOL

@decaf No I am not. I don't trust Dr.'s. I tell them what they need to know and that is it. I have had many bad Dr.'s over the years (Mostly GP's) I tend to go directly to a specialist if I have a problem.

Before I was on medicare, anytime I talked to my Doctor about things outside of the normal physical, I always ended up having to pay my co pay. It was a small amount so it didn't bother me. This is my first year on medicare and I addressed all my concerns during my recent physical and I have not received any extra charges for it. I just feel like I am there with her and don't want to have to come back again, so I talk to her about whatever I need to. But an extra appointment would be nice too, since things do get a little rushed and it might be nice for the extra time.

@BalletBabe Me either! I learned having my 4 joint replacements and being in the hospital system that you keep your lips shut. Less information the better or they come to their own conclusions without reason.

I heard it is best not to bring up any "concerns" as they code physicals different if you mention ISSUES you are concerned with. Then you are charged a fee When a yearly exam is normally free.
Should I make seperate appointment for the two concerns I have? How would you handle this.
@SeaMaiden No doctor vist here has ever been free, even zoom visits are charged as an office visit.

update
SO....
Went to my yearly checkup today, Thursday. Never even had to undress or sit on the table. He listened to my heart sitting in the chair. That was about all of the PHYSICAL contact he made with me. . Is this normal today? I have not had a physical since 2017. So I guess physicals are really not physical any more...
The Doctor was very nice...an young internest MD who graduated in 2017....we talked a lot which was nice. He was into Wholistic health too....so did not see me as a health nut...and he knew about the supplements I take. Did not feel rushed at all either...nice chair side manner. Had blood work taken. I did bring up my two concerns. I asked him if I would be charged differently if I brought up concerns...he said no, do not worry about that to feel free to talk about anything. He was not pushy about having this or that done...which makes me not want to go to the doctor....so that was a relief.

That sounds more like a Medicare Wellness Visit rather than an annual physical.

@CelticCrafter so what do you ask for when you call for your yearly physical? I asked for a complete yearly checkup with bloodwork ....Should I have requested NOT the Medicare wellness checkup? IT IS SO CONFUSING.
