Question about my Clarisonic

I just got my Clarisonic, and I can't figure something out...and I read all the instructions:

When I put it on the charger, there's no indicator to actually show if it's charging. I'm assuming it is...am I missing something? Is there supposed to be NO charging indicator?

Thank you in advance for any help.

Re: Question about my Clarisonic

I believe when it's fully charged it should stop blinking. Mine blinks when I first plug it in. It holds a charge for a really long time.

Isn't it a great product? My entire family uses it! We love it!!

Re: Question about my Clarisonic

mtnbikegirl is right--it will blink when charging, then turns to solid when fully charged.

Although you don't specifically say which type of Clarisonic you have, I assume when you say that you put it on the charger this means you have the larger model that goes on a base stand charging unit (as opposed to the Mia which has a magnet charger). On the larger unit, the small top light should blink when charging, or be solid green when fully charged. If you put the unit on the charger and there is no light, it means you haven't placed the unit on the charger correctly. Make sure it sits solidly on the base unit (the side with the lights should be facing out--towards you) until you see the green light. Also, there should be an instruction pamphlet included with your Clarisonic which should explain this.

It's the Clarisonic Plus...with the magnetic charging stand. The pamphlet just says to place it on the charger. I get NO light at all. What a disappointment.

When I 'live chatted' with QVC...they just punted to Clarisonic. They didn't even say that they were sorry I got a defective unit.

Thanks for your help.

Re: Question about my Clarisonic

That's always disappointing when you're the one to get a defective product, isn't it? And especially when customer service seems to not even care. But it happens to us all at some point, I guess.

All I can say is that Clarisonic has sold thousands, if not millions, of these devices and the overwhelming majority of them work as promised. I have had two for several years and use them daily with no problems at all.

Since you say you just got yours I assume you can still return it. You might want to try an exchange, rather than a refund, to see if you can get a workable unit. Good luck.

Re: Question about my Clarisonic

just went to youtube and there should be 4 lights on the machine itself, that light up green and it beeps when you place it in the charger. After all 4 lights are green, that means it is fully charged. If not, then you should call the company.

Re: Question about my Clarisonic

Are you talking about the one that was just the TSV? If so, make sure that you have the outside of the Clarisonic facing out from the charger. The brush head part needs to face the charging stand. The green lights are on the backside of the brush.

Re: Question about my Clarisonic

Thanks, everyone. I will call Clarisonic Monday morning. If they can't help me, I'm sending it back to QVC.

It's really sad to get a cool new thing that you can't use. I appreciate all your tips and help.
