What color is it supposed to be? 

I've been buying this powder for several years and have noticed that it comes in many colors from light-tan to brown and even shades of pink. What can be said about the color? Is one better than the other? It's difficult to find answers on the internet.

I would buy an organic camu camu. Color can vary by the way it's processed, variety of berry & maybe the drying base used. I have seen them use a maltodextrin or tapioca base in the drying process. I would think that could change the color slightly.

I think you're right about this. I read somewhere that the color stems from the way it is processed or not. I always buy the organic.

And I might add...the organic has to be 100% pure fruit, no fillers.

Camu camu is a natural souce of vitamin C and it has many other nutritionally valuable components. 

 Just google it and you'll see.
