Quell not helping my daughter

I purchased the Quell to see if it would help my daughter's leg pain.

She faithfull used it as directed for several weeks.  She used their app and followed it to the letter.  She did feel sensations in her legs from it, but no pain relief.

She MAY have fibromyalgia.  We are still seeing specialists (orthopedics and second opinion neurologist next).  She sees rheumatologist in a couple weeks and has seen pain management doctor.  She is no better and feels she will progress to a wheelchair.  I don't know.

But the Quell has not helped her.

       Yes but that is far from definitive.  It's just think that indicates you might have fibro.  Since there is no real way to diagnose fibro, doctors use many different things and the pressure points are just one....and not even the best one.

@hyacinth003  I'm not surprised your daughter got no relief.  I think those machines are a bunch of voodoo.  I have a professional tens unit ordered by my physical therapist and paid for by insurance and it never helped me one iota.

Re: Quell not helping my daughter

The medicine I was taking for fibro is amazing!  It started working within 2 weeks (Dr said it might be 4 weeks).  I don't  understand how it works but it does.

My arthritis Dr suggested I try it.

I also have Quell and Tens.  I never follow through with anything.  It might work if I followed through with it.

@hyacinth003

Have you tried 2 Old Goats?  That helps my pain so much.  I have degenerative arthritis/ osteoporosis and neuropathies from MS.  This helps me.  Now it is not going to be a cure for pain but it is soothing and comforts me when I have pain.  It is not long term, but it sure gives me relief.

@Annabellethecat66  What do you take?  I'm having to give up the NSAID that I've taken for years.  Doctor suggested Percoset and I hit the roof... a NARCOTIC?  I don't think so.

I'm sorry that the Quell didn't work for your daughter, @hyacinth003.  I had considered trying it but the reviews were not impressive.  She must be so depressed by this point:/

[ Edited ]

@Kachina624 It's called Limbrel (flavocoxid 500 mg).  You need a prescription to get it but my Dr called it in the first time I think then I just call (or they call me)and renew it every month.  Take one capsult 2X's a day.  I get it from Transition Pharmacy.

I don't understand it, how it works but it does.  I've had Fibro for many years.  The aching was terrible.  My arthritis Dr is the one that prescribes it.

I don't know about insurance or anything.  I just pay for it.  It's around $45-$49.

Hope it helps you like it did me.
