Not everyone checks the website for recalls. Are they sending letters to those who purchased the products?

yes, they usually send out a letter to the purchaser. sometimes they do also phone the customers. there is a link towards the bottom of the qvc homepage to items qvc has sold that have been recalled.

I had a product under a recall, a food carrier with freezeable packs. The packs were found to leak. QVC sent me a letter about the product with options I could do.
