Thanks for the head's up!  I'm sure it will be all over the news.  My husband does the shopping and he typically buys our ground beef from Costco (their prime beef is really good!), which is not the Big Island beef.  I will let him know, though.

Speaking of ecoli - that lettuse scare at Wendiy's in MI, OH, and a couple of other states is once again the Romaine lettuce. Wendy's took it out of the salads and off sandwiches.

 

Seriously, ROMAINE LETTUCE again??????????  Stop growing it, stop selling it, stop buying it. We haven't had this stuff since the first outbreak many years ago. It's appalling that stores and restaurants STILL use this stuff.
