@Mindy D

Here’s a video which really breaks down your study/infographic.

This video was posted in mid-2018, so VEGA might have changed

their formulation....but at the end of the day, just eat the whole food.

A cup of beans/legumes would accomplish the exact same result

and provide MANY more benefits than just powder.

VEGA PRODUCTS ((NOT JUST ONE) WERE AMONG THE MOST CONTAMINATED OF THE POWDERS ACCORDING TO THIS STUDY. ALL THE BRANDS TESTED ARE RANKED IN ORDER OF CONTAMINATION, FROM LEAST CONTAMINATED WITH TOXINS TO MOST CONTAMINATED. IF YOU CLICK ON THE LINK YOU HAVE TO LOOK FOR THE PAGES OF PRODUCTS ON THE WEBSITE, ITS A BIT TRICKY TO FIND THE PAGES.

I just had total knee replacement and will have the other knee done in a few months.  It was suggested in hospital to step up protein and I thought including it in a morning smoothie might be a way to do that.

I know one thing...I cannot consume large quantities of pea protein. That protein contains high levels of arginine amino acid and that sets off my cold sores like you wouldn't believe. It has been difficult for me to find plant-based diet items which are low in arginine...because it so happens that particular aa is very abundant in plants.
