Scissors? Or clippers?  I've never heard of toenail scissors. I'll google and see what comes up.

Re: Professional toenail scissors

I can find them. I was just curious if anyone knew of a professional pair. The ones the podiatrist used were so easy. I guess I could call and ask. I have a pair but they don’t cut well.

My mother used two professional cutters, different styles. The type you pictured was her "lightweight" one. The heavyweight was specialized, engineered with a  different blade style and a grip that increased leverage.

Rather than calling, I'd suggest you email your podiatrist, send a photo, ask if they recommend any other style for you.

Also, they may be able to order a specific cutter from a supplier for you at a substantially lower cost than you would find retail.

Look at the Vermont Country Store.  They offer a pair of toenail scissors.

This is a good idea. I can just use the message feature in mychart and ask them.

@ccassaday   Would you please post what you find out?  I'd be interested in some super clippers, also.  TIA.

@ccassaday

Did you find a good pair of toenail clippers?  If so, could you post what kind they are and where to purchase them?  Thank you.

Re: Professional toenail scissors

I ordered "podiatrist toe nail clippers" from Amazon; they looked too sharp when I got them, so I gave them to my adult son with toenail issues ( he loved them).

I file mine.  I can't stand clippers or nippers or scissors.
