I could not get covid test kits at KP this morning. They said medicare no longer covers it.

I just tested negative for two days in  row after having covid for 2 weeks.  I'm 86 and was lucky it was mild. Like a super head cold.

I have always wore a mask, but when I got my car fix, I screwed up and didn't wear one and 5 days later had covid.

People walking around without mask in KP. Not me anymore,

I will wear a n95 forever.  Don't want to go through it again.

It was the first time for me and no fun when you are alone.

Good thing I am very strong and otherwise healthy.

@qvcaddition  so good to see you. Yes Kaiser no longer gives them out. I was able to get a few over the past few months that expire in December.

I always wear a mask and gor Covid in January and knew exactly when I got it. Very mild. Nothing to it but it messed me up. Got pneumonia and couldn't stop weasing. Ended up in the hospital with hight blood pressure for about a week. The highest was 238/117.

The Naprologist sent me for an untrasound because he though there was blockage in my kidneys. Let's just say that Prayer works. No blockage.

Still wearing my mask.

My Dr said something about long covid but I'm so over it.

So sorry you went through all that. Mine was also mild. So far OK. I now wear n95 mask everywhere.

I got in the last week and had ordered kits from online and had 4 from KP from before, so still can test.  The lab at KP will also test if you need it.

I was not careful the one time without a mask.  People look at me like I am an idiot.  One person I spoke with said, I am compromised, but if I get it, I get it.  There are people out there that don't wear mask and have it and don't care.  I had read online where some said, just don' t test, so this is where I believe that people walking around with it and maybe know or do not know or care.  I have had a rough couple of months with just me, God and prayers.

I had to be taken to ER  in Feb. They thought Heart, but it wasn't, got a good workup and very healthy for my age.

Today, going to get a CT on head, because of pain on back of head.  Dr. suspects arthritis. Dr. also had CT done on Kidneys because of stones, but was OK.

I have not posted much lately as in the pass, but Melanie, my dog,and I still kicking and walking. I was worried about giving covid to her, so everything in the house was sanitized, bedding, knobs, sheets changed everyday, pillows washed or sprayed and left outside. Dishes, washed and boiling water poured over them, hers and mine. Sprayed her beds and put them out in the sun.

My sons afraid to come and see me.  One left food at the front door the first week. That saved me caused I couldn't go shopping. I understand them not being near me then, but I am neg. now.

Even now that I am negative they are afraid, because they are not vaccinated and of course let me know how much I have been vacinated and still got covid.

One son is coming tomorrow with enchilliades he made.  I could not taste anything at first, but wanted Mexican food, which I love, and could taste a little, so I did a lot of take out.

We will sit outside and visit. I had to miss the MD brunch this year

Keep safe and healthy.  Prayers to you. They do work. Stay safe.

Has anyone here tried the Mark Cuban Cost Plus for prescription drugs? I have not but think it might be worth looking into. Sorry if it was already mentioned.
