Hi @ccassaday! I am happy that your recovery is going well!

My son loves these Premier Shakes. During the hot humid summers of Florida, I typically have smoothies for breakfast. I typically buy low carb , low calorie protein powders and that way I can add things like avocado, or sweet potato-or carrots. You can add all sorts of things and I'm always finding ideas for add-ins. Flax meal and chia-as well as almond meal (2 Tbl each of any of them) per 8 oz of liquid.

Of course, let your imagination go wild with extracts!

Hugs and may you have a continued speedy recovery,

Poodlepet2

What is the source of protein in the Premier brand?

Please and thank you.

I believe I read it is WEY. There may have been some others also.

My husband gets me these in chocolate, at Costco.  I like them.

In the other thread I saw banana mentioned and that sounded good, too.

So far, I've only had the chocolate.

I think these protein shakes are great.  I drink a vanilla one every day.  The caramel are good, too.

I bet the Carmel would be good to make a latte.

Thanks. It's going as expected. Still super swollen. I have to start getting creative for meals. Tonight my mom made me stuffing with mashed potatoes and broth and blended it. It actually tasted really good. I hope after I get my stitches out tomorrow I can wash my hair finally. It's so gross.

I drink a vanilla one in the morning blended with banana, cocoa powder, and peanut butter. DH has one in the afternoon as a snack. Delicious!

I promise to remind myself every day that I am strong, courageous, and resilient.
