Thanks @mrshckynut , yes, I had done an up date on the colonoscopy the other day and all is well. I remember your husband mentioning the issue with his lung awhile back. I've been doing 2 scans twice a year since 2021.Each time it has gotten smaller, but I know there is still a risk.

@catter70,

They didn't want to take it out? Or do a biopsy?

@on the bay   take what out

if you are talking about a lung nodule they seldom do a biopsy because of the danger factor

@mrshckynut.

I guess I should have said a ct or PET scan. I had one and had the nodule and half a lung taken out.

@on the bay  thank you that helps me understand

with my husbands nodule it was in a spot with too much risk to biopsy and doctors would not remove it without first doing a biopsy his was shrinking over the years so they moved to doing annual cat and ultrasounds and it finally completely was gone

@on the bay, no they didn't do a biopsy. It has been shrinking every year since detected at the end of 2021,my doctors decided to wait and see. Edited to add that I did have a pet scan which didn't show anything bad, but it's still a concern.

Last week it was the colonoscopy, this week is my  semi annual lung scan. I worry so much everytime I have to get this done, so I'm asking for prayers that all will be okay and that the mass in my lung continues to shrink. Thank you.

@catter70 , I  am praying that you receive a good scan this week. I sure understand your worry, as I do he same every year when I get my mammogram after having had breast cancer.
