Re: Prayers for Jubilant

[ Edited ]

@SassyLassy, please give warm regards to @jubilant and let her know that many of us have her in our thoughts and prayers.  What a blessing that she was at the doctors when this happened.  Apparently, she was listening to her body.

Our prayers will also be for you @SassyLassy and the rest of your family.  Nothing happens in isolation, as any of us that have had a sick loved one knows.

I'm so sorry but thank you for telling us.

I've known several family members who needed similar surgery and it really gave them a new lease on life.

Please give your mom my very best wishes for a successful outcome and quick recovery.

@SassyLassy  I will keep your mom in my prayers. I know how scary this can be, my father had a double bypass at 53 (30 years ago) during a snowstorm where our family was terrified.  He came through and over the last 30 years he has had stints put in a few times, a difibulator put in and replaced and about 5 years ago, an artificial valve.  I can tell you that things have really improved in heart surgery and care in the last several years.  Keep the faith, after a scare a few years ago due to an allergy to some of the pre-surgery iodine, he had the valve replacement and was mowing the yard a few weeks later at 80 years old!

Keep strong, and know that along with myself, many others on this site care about your mom and will pray for her and her family.

@SassyLassy, thank you so much for letting us know.  I'm praying for Jubilant, for you and your family.  Very difficult period for you all to go through.  Jubilant is such a dear and much admired.  It's very kind of you to keep all her well-wishers posted.  Keep your chin up, Jubilant.  See you here soon!

I am so sorry she's having to go through this.  Glad she was at the hospital when the heart attack happened.  I will say prayers for her, @SassyLassy.
