Possible chemicals in food packaging?

Just an alert.  Tomorrow (Tuesday, May 2) on Dr. Oz Show.  Featuring the possibility (allegedly) of chemicals in some food packaging that might possibly be leaching into foods.  There is another thread in TV and Movies, so comments can be posted there instead of here.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

I think they are going to be talking about fast food wrappers...fluorinated chemicals like PFOAs and PFCs which make the wrappers leak-proof.

Dr. Oz has cried, "wolf" so many times over nonsense, if he ever addressed a real threat or serious issue, many people,  like me, would pay no attention.

Dr Oz has to keep his ratings up.
My sister's had to treat patients that end up in the hospital after acting on his broadly aimed advise. "But, Dr Oz said..."

Dr. Oz should stick to his one time primary specialty which was Cardiology. His secondary day job, in my opinion, is losing people's trust in him. When he went to Medical School, nutrition was barely mentioned, nor was proper Cardio healthy food programs.

As with any TV host, when ratings are dropping, they have to use some type of drama filled preview (headline) and hope to attract viewer. I liked his show for awhile, but then he got away from his specialty, which is Cardiology, and that is where he lost this viewer.

Nothing that he says now means much to me, and this latest(tease) is no different. There are probably things I could deem as bad, in everything considered to be food. But since that is not my specialty, I will leave that up to those who choose to consume them.
