I finally switched pharmacies after I kept coming up short on one or two of my bp meds every month. It was usually just a couple of pills but still a hassle to have to go back to get the missing ones. My three controlled meds come to the pharmacy sealed,  so no problem there. After 8 years, they were finally approved to be put on mail order. So much better!

My PCP said that there is ( in general, not just one place) an ongoing problem with pharmacy techs being dishonest.  That's why there are so many checks and balances in place in pharmacies.

Very good advice.  I was shorted several times at Walgreen's and the pharmacist didn't seem to care so I moved my business elsewhere.  What a joke that pharmacy was.  The pharmacist and one of his middle-aged lady helpers were more interested in chatting between themselves than helping customers waiting in line.  I wrote to Walgreens Corporate and let them know.  Shortly thereafter, the pharmacy staff was completely replaced.  I suspect others had also reported him; he looked like he was near retirement.
